How do I ask a question when the admin deletes the words in my question??

I was trying to ask question about Pal knives and Blade Forum throws out the work Pal because it is to short ???? WTF ???
 
I tried to search for PAL KNIVES and the admin deleted the word PAL and searched for KNIVEs ...Is this an issue with your current problems?? I cannot use the site ...

Search terms have to be at least four letters. Use quotes around your query: “PAL Knives” and see if that helps.

Ah, I guess quotation marks don’t get around that limitation then. The character limit on search has always been a thing, so it’s not related to the upgrade AFAIK.

As far as search in general, I think it’s still indexing so it’s not fully functional yet.
 
D'you mean the Woodsman's Pal? That machete with a brush hook arrangement?

Not sure what you mean.....you used the word Pal twice in your post and nothing was rejected...
 
Software accepted the word "PAL" from me.
If that was the only word in the title or post, the software would likely have rejected it. But the software does not reject 3-letter words.
 
Whenever a BF search doesn't get me what I'm looking for I use the "Google Advanced Search". Use bladeforums.com for the site or domain entry. Works great.

Search seems to be working now. It even let me enter PAL.
"PAL Cutlery" gets better results, without a bunch of Pay Pal chaff.
 
Search index is being rebuilt (again) but should be done in a couple hours
