how do i clean a wet stone?

theres metal in the pores of my wet stone, how do i clean them out? thanks guys.

For slight contamination, use a NAGURA stone. For serious need of reshaping and cleaning, I just lay some wet-sandpaper (120 + 400) on a flat surface, wet it and rub the stone on that. Make sure to attack it with alternating sides of the stone or you'll get a slanted stone for sure. Ultimately, your eye is the judge of what's perfect.
