How Do I Decide?

I have an unusual system for my knife models. Those of you who have been to my shop have seen it. My more popular patterns are hanging on nails on my wall, and the less popular patterns, and one off designs, are in a box on a shelf. (probably about 60 patterns.)
Most patterns are just cardboard, but the most popular ones get the honor of being cut out of wood.
My wife thinks I'm strange, don't know why.

makes sense to me -- but then, I tend to prototype using 5mm luan or 1/4" birch ply.

I have 6 cardboard patterns in a box. It works well enough for me.

I keep random stuff in boxes all the time. Perfectly normal

You've got all those patterns for one simple reason..you make good knives.
