How do I edit a thread header ???

I can't figure out how to change a thread topic header as it appears in a particular section. For instance, if I have a knife listed for sale and I decide to change the title to include the words "Price Reduced" or **SOLD** I can go advanced on the edit and change it in the title box but it doesn't show up that way in the main thread header/title. I hope I am explaining myself clearly, because I would really like to know how to do this and I am getting VERY frustrated.
 
I am not sure that you can, but you can always email, P.M. me or the other mods or hit the report this post button and one of us will gladly take care of it.

I went ahead and changed the title on your Bark River for sale post. (Hope that the wording is OK and that was the right one.)
 
Thanks. I just assumed it could be done because it is done in so many of the for sale threads. If I have to have a Mod do it then that answers my question. Thank you.
 
Yeah, I should probably change the For Sale forums to allow people to edit their thread titles.
 
If you do, can you do it for the Knifemaker's Area as well?

I guess I'm an idiot, I still can't edit my thread header. I see where others have done it, so I know it can be done. Can ya'll please walk this ole' southern computer ignorant Redneck through it in a step by step. I sure would appreciate it. First round is on me if we ever meet!
 
Guys, I'm begging here. Please tell me how to edit and change a thread header. I see other people doing it, so I know it can be done, hell I have even sent E-mails to them asking how they did it and nobody will tell me. Is there a secret handshake or something. I'll buy the first round should we ever meet...How's that?

No kidding. It's been a known bug for a long time. We keep expecting the vBulletin people to fix it in the next update....
