I just bought a bottle of Patron Anejo. How do I sip it?

Chilled, not chilled?

With ice, without ice?

With lime wedge, or without lime?

Any experienced recommendations are highly appreciated.

Straight up.

This is true of any really good spirit. Mixing is for lesser stuff. Great spirits have great flavor and great nose and should be allowed to show it off for you.

Gollnick is right .The best stuff is only ruined by mixing etc. Just sip and enjoy !

sip it right out of the bottle.

sips should be 20-30 seconds in length!!!!:D

never gulp:barf:

Yep, chilled, small sips for the fine stuff. Mixes and shots with salt and/or lime for the cheap stuff that you really don't want to taste.

What they said - no lime, no salt, no chaser. Just sip n' enjoy!

If you need lime and/or salt to drink it, you need better tequila. Patron Anejo is good stuff. Personally though I'da bought some Don Julio for the same price, or saved a few bucks and gotten Herradurra, but there ain't nothing wrong with Patron. I prefer my hard booze room temp, especially rum or tequila, but then again, I also prefer my Jager warm, so...

More than any other spirit I've experienced, Tequila runs the gamut from horrible rock-gut to wonderful art. It was, in fact, a bottle of Herradurra received as a gift that really changed my mind about Tequilas. There are some really snifter-worthy Tequilas out there.

Tequila comes in two very fundamental types: light and dark. Light Tequila's are best chilled and even on the rocks. Dark at room temperature and even in a snifter. Either way, sip and enjoy.

Tequila used to be the catalyst for many a strange nights for me and friends. It has, for me any ways, resulted in; hospitalization (for a buddy, not me), major and min dry wall repair, flesh wounds, burns, property damage, and run in's with LEO's. I am glad that chapter of my life is over. Enjoy it in smaller doses, so it does not bring you to that high level of reason, that it used to bring me to...
