Greetings from Florida.
I'm Bob (a newb here) and I stumbled onto this site because I have rediscovered an old Boy Scout-type camping/utility knife that has been in storage for many decades and I don't know what it is. It has no company markings on it, only "Stainless Steel" stamped on some of the tools down near where it joins into the knife "body" which is the old textured, dark brown stag looking exterior. The knife when closed is about 5 inches in length and has 8 "blade/tools" that fold out (5 from the main top and 3 from the underside).... fork, can/bottle opener on one end, scissors, knife, spoon form other end; then from the underside a flat screwdriver/file, a corkscrew, and a very stout pointed punch. It's sheath is dark brown leather with belt loop, a small swivel snap hook and a strap with a spring latch to secure it over the knife. The strap has two rows of 5 decorative studs embedded in the strap.
I would post a photo but I guess I'm not permitted to at this point. I'd be happy to email a photo if requested to do so. I am suspecting this may be an old copy of something because there are no company logos or stamps anywhere. It is extremely solid and not wimpy by any means.
I just don't know if it's worth hanging onto or should I just use it as a boat anchor (it's almost THAT heavy). Any input or suggestions will be appreciated.
