How To How do I fix a stockman where the two small blades collide?

Hi Folks, I need some expert advice, please.

I am making several stockman kits and in the latest few, for some reason, the sheepsfood and spey blades collide with each other when closing. Neither is visibly bent. There is a tiny, tiny gap at the middle of the plate on the same side as these blades but I have made others with larger gaps and the blades do not rub or collide so I am not sure if it is relevant.

When I look down the knife from the front it looks like the plate on this side is tilted inward. Another way to put it is that the plate is not perfectly perpendicular to the springs, or that the two plates are not perfectly parallel to each other when looking down the gutter. I am not sure how I did this to the kit and it does not seem to want to open up. Maybe a pin is bent? Not sure if this is the cause, either. Just mentioning it since it is a data point.

Does anyone have some advice for getting them to share the same gutter without colliding?

Thanks, much appreciated!
