How do I fix blade play and frame lock not engaging?

I have a buck bones with up down blade play and crkt m16 10ksf with side blade play (tightening the pivot did nothing)
2 Gerber mini paraframes where the frame lock bar doesn't lock it place at all when the blade is opened, even flicking it open and pushing it open does nothing. I don't want to sand or file down the lock bar in fear of taking off too much material and getting blade play. Can anyone help?

Side to side Blade play will probably not go away with your crkt because of Teflon washers. For The others check to see if they have warranty by contacting the manufacturer and send them in.

Maybe I'll try getting differenthe washers. But I'm not the original owner so the Warrenty isn't going to help in this case.

You don't have to be an original owner. Warranty still applies. Only a few companies do that and it's rare to see.

For vertical play step 1 is warranty. Step 2 is re see if you can get a stop pin with a bigger diameter or create a sleeve of think steel tubing for the stop pin to increase its diameter (will require cutting and probably sanding of the sleeve).
