How Do I Fix This?

I just got a Benchmade 710 - sweet knife.
I was not quite as sharp as my CQC7 was when I got it so I began to sharpen it...

I slipped

and now the surface of blade has a few light scratches on it.

How do I go about removing these scratches and restoring the finish of the blade?

Hey Joe...

Gotta live with it dude,, unless you want to redo the entire blade....

A few scratches gives character to a knife I think.. Lords knows mine have lots of character!! LOL
