Hello forums! So I’ve had this knife for a while but have only just recently put it through it’s paces a bit and this happened.

The micarta separated and is now wiggling back and forth a bit. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I was thinking of just using some 5 min epoxy but I can’t really clamp it at all bc it’s riveted and can’t move closer to the next piece. Thanks in advance!

You could try the superglue & baking powder trick.
Use the liquid version, not the gel type.
Apply a few tiny drops in the gap, then sprinkle it with a bit of baking powder.
The powder works as an accellerator and makes the superglue polymerize literally in an instant.
You can even add layers if need be to fill the gap some more.
The end result will be very hard and also have a much higher bonding strength than superglue alone.
Sand to shape with some fine sandpaper.

I used Condors warranty service when my Woodlaw blade deformed from bad steel (heat treat?).
I had to mail them a pic of the damaged knife, and they sent a new one that was good. No questions asked.
I got to keep the bad knife which is worthless for cutting, so I plan on using it to practice knife throwing  :D
