How do I get a grip

I have a 14 inch condor el Salvador machete that i love. Its only flaw in my opinion is the poly handle is super slick. I has not gone flying yet but I am constantly worried about this especially after a hard long day of work. Is there anything I can do to improve the grip on the handle

Try putting a lanyard loop in the handle to secure it to your wrist. You could also get a thin pair of gloves that have the rubberized textured palms and fingers.

i use it on a couple of my blades and it works pretty well and its cheap
but you will have to replace it ocasionally
