default to display the threads by most recent post. I've tried to set each separate forum to display by newest post, but lose that setting when I exit and come back.

Thanks

BTW, A great forum, with super paople.

You mean display newest post first? Or are you talking about the For Sale forums?

Both. I used to see the newest post in each forum posted first. Now I don't.

Thank Spark!!

Click on Settings (top right corner next to "Log Out") > General Settings (left column, 2nd link down under "My Account")> Thread Display Mode (about halfway down the page). (Formerly known as User CP > Options > Thread Display Mode)
"Linear-Newest First" will set your view to show the most recent posts from the top down. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes"

However, the Exchange is set differently, so you may still have to click "Last Post" on the blue bar to see the latest posts from top to bottom in chronological order. This may be search related as I don't see the option ATM, and search is currently down site-wide for everyone while Spark works the kinks out of the new forum software upgrades.

Hope this helps ya! :)

I was checking out the Exchange section, when I hit "Last Post By", I got threads and posts from December 2010 first. Then as I went to the last page, that's where today's new posts were. Funny. :D

Hey, TY for this! ...After reading your post, I went back and tried hitting "Last Post By" twice (to get that little triangle arrow pointing down), and it does organize most current posts from top to bottom. :)
