How do I go to Gold??

On feb. 9, my wife bought me a gold membership. I know I'm just missing something in the fine print, but does it go through automatically, or was I supposed to recieve an email.....? Sorry, but I waited a couple of weeks before asking. On her credit card statement threr was a #, do you need that? Thanks, Gene EDIT: WOW....that was fast!!!
