How do I grind off the black coating on the head of a benchmade axis lock bar?

I have a Crooked River with the black coated axis lock bar heads that I want to grind off into satin . How would I do it?

Simplest way would be to chuck the screws in a dremel of flex shaft and turn against a piece of 400 grit paper. A drill or drill press would work, too. Just clamp snug enough go prevent slipping.
