How do I grind Tanto point?

Im thinking of adding a Japanese Tanto point to my next blade. But I have never owned a Tanto, nor have I ever tried to grind one on the end of a blade before...

any advice?

I would suggest practicing with some wood or masonite cut to the same dimentions of the blade you plan on making. you should be able to figure out your angles and grind lines with little trouble and low cost.
