How do I leave and receive feedback on a buy/sale?

I hope this is the right place to ask this...

I need to leave positive feedback for a someone that just sold me a knife. I did some looking and I see a place to leave feedback under his profile. I've figured that out so far, that's the easy part.

Here is where I need a little advice and answers. I'm not a gold member so can he leave feedback for me?

Also I assume that feedback can be left in the GB&U forum? If so do people usually leave their real name or board name? Do you create one thread per member with all comments under that thread???

Any help would be apreciated since I'm somewhat new here, thanks.

He can leave feedback for you the same as you did for him regardless of your membership level

Not a bad place for the question, but Tech Support is better, so I'll move this there.
Yes, you can post a FEEDBACK forum thread. I usually do both, iTrader and FEEDBACK.
Any member, with any level of membership, paid or unpaid, can leave and receive feedback.
Probably best to use board names, since that's what we would know you by.

Go to the sales thread. Look in the lower left corner of the original post there. Click on Rate Seller. This will bring up the iTrader form with the URL already filled in. Now fill in the other choices, including something in the large comments box at the end.

Thanks for the input everyone. I had the feedback part figured out but not the GB&U post part figured out.

One more question....

Can I leave feedback for a deal that originated on another forum but where that person is a member here? In other words can I link the URL from that other site in the feedback box for the person who is a member on both sites?

I don't believe our software will recognize another site's address for an iTrader feedback.
It won't even recognize a Bladeforums address unless it comes from our Exchange forums.

Mmm, not unless it was a thread that started somewhere in the Exchange. You are more than welcome to start a thread in the Feedback section. Always glad to read about positive experiences, and a ton of people read through that section.
