I've discovered that I can create anything and I have no limits by using welding to attach bits and pieces to blades. My only limit is that I'm not sure how to market my designes. I live in a small town and I wish that I could just leave my job and make knives all day!!! I'm sure that someone would enjoy my designes but I need a chance to be descovered so to speak.

Hey Cat....

The best way to get started is to get a web page going,,get some decent pictures up and start talking...

You are in the Best place to promote yourself and your work.

Let people know who you are, and donate a knife here and there...

Word of mouth is Everything.. Is your blades are nice,, it will spread like wildfire through out the forums..

It's a heck of a lot of work..Major PR involved,, but it can be done.

It's taken me eight months to get to where I'm at now...That's because of talking to people and getting my products out there and getting people to talk about them...

Without the forums I would be No Where,,and that is a Fact.... A fact that Soon I hope to be repaying...

ttyle Eric...

Yep, get a website going. Go to shows. Knife shows are best but gun shows are a start if you can't get to the knife shows. Hang out on BladeForums and flash a pic or two now and then. In the end though, customers will be your best advertising. As more buy, use and like your knives, word will get around. This is especially true if your knives have some unique appeal as you suggest.

Good luck with it, and I wish you well.
