So i got an izula kit and i was messing around with it and i snapped the cord lock together and cant get it open again. Im shure brute force would work at some point but i would like not to break it.

Anyone know how this is done?

Thanks.

Ha! I think my first post in the RAT forum may have been that same question. I and, it seems like, half the population around here did the exact same thing with theirs.

You can release it by slipping something down the wider flat side of the whistle. the corner of a credit card works. But the trick is you have to do it on both sides at the same time. So make it two credit cards. Once you have the latches disengaged you can push out the inside from the place were the cord is supposed to go in.

yeah i did that right away too. took bout 15 minutes to figure it out, man was i getting frustrated quick. a small flathead will work great too.

Make this a sticky already, people post this question once a month ;) Or stick it in a FAQ somewhere..

LOL ,You'll have to buy another Izula w/ Kit ....
Just kidding, takes two to be safe ,at least to stab/poke someone elses hand while separating the two parts and not your own.

nobody reads stickies so no sense in that.

Glad that I am not the only one who doesn't like stickies. If there's too many they are just a bunch of stuff you have to scroll past.

Hahaha, that is my thought most of the time. Occasionally I do give them a quick once over.
