How do I polish a blade?

I don't mean like just the edge. I want to know how to how to polish the entire blade from start to finish, bead blasted or TINI coated to a mirror polish.

Basically, lots of sandpaper starting with 200 grit to 600 grit or a buffing wheel, then a polishing compound

Some kind of greaseless compound on a buffing wheel from 320-600 grit, then sandpaper to about 1200 grit, then a fast cut stainless compound, then your usual white/green compounds, and lastly you want a specialized stainless compound that specifically states that it's for a mirror finish on stainless(I use White Lightning from Caswell).

i use some mothers car wax on my dremel polishing bit and i get a mirror finish
