I have a picture of a knife on my computer that I want to post. How do I do that?

So I guess what I have to do is transfer the images to a photo hosting website, then get a link to each image? Umh, okay.

Hey Gary, none of the links that Revdevil has there for reference work. Just tried them myself.

That seems like an old issue when the new software took over, broken links everywhere, sorry about that! But I think F Fred1255 does have the right idea, while not easy peasy but it is one way to get your photos up and then paste into the forum here.

IF he upgrades to a higher level, he can actually upload them into the forum and use them from there, but that is at a cost of course, which does help keep this site afloat.
Blues or another moderator might be able to fix those broken links?

I don't know what I am doing wrong but this is the address imgur gives me. It doesn't end in jpg or .gif & I get an error message when I post in to the photo upload tab.

I went to the link in your post. I right-clicked the image located there. From the resulting popup I chose "copy image address".
Then I went back to my post and clicked the "insert image" icon located between the "link" tool and the "smiley" icon on my post toolbar.
A popup appeared. I chose the "link" tab and pasted the address into that.
