How do I send PM or start conversations

Hi. New to the forum and not so verse in the ways forums work.
Please help me out, how do I send a message or start a conversation with another member.

Private messaging requires paid membership.

Some members have their profiles open to posts; but those are in no way private.

You do to attach a picture, I think. But most people post by hyperlinking to an image hosting site using the BB code tags.

When you post, hover your cursor over the text formatting bar, the little box shaped like a mountain landscape with the sun is "Insert Image." You may or may not have the "Upload" option, but you should have the option to insert by link. Otherwise most of the image hosting sites should have a share option for BB code, and you can simply copy/paste that into your thread or post reply.

I just did a paid membership, I should have done it from the start. This is a great site and I like to support it. Then my first PM is a generated auto conversation from sparky , that consumed 1/5 of my allocated conversations . I don’t think that is fair ???
 
You can just delete it by clicking up top and hitting leave conversation
