How do I show a youtube video?

How do i copy and post a youtube video so it shows the actual video and doesn't just link the URL?

Arrgh still dont get it.
Hitting copy on video, then hitting share video in the post and paste.
It inserts the url but when I hit save post it only shows the url text and not the video.
Watched a couple tutorials but nothing seems to be working.
What am I doing wrong.
Obviously need a step by step if somebody could please and thank you.

Another practice

So this is what I get when I select "copy embed code".
Do I need to copy something else when I right click on the video. Ie: "copy video url"
It gives me several choices.
Then I hit the film icon on my post and paste what ever it is i want to show/embed/copy what ever you want to call it.

You need to copy the URL, that is: the page address in the address bar at the top of the browser.
