How do I stop my knife from doing this?

Thats pretty easy. Stop flicking it like that and it won't do it.
Otherwise you're going to have to carefully peen the pivot until it is tighter.

I don't flick it regularly, I was demonstrating... wouldn't want a cop to ask to see it! :eek:
How do I peen it? Just take a small hammer or...

Hammer and punch....carefully. If you're unsure, it would probably best to have someone with experience personally guide you thru it or complete the job for you. This process can be tricky as you have to be able to tap hard enough to tighten the pin without deforming or overtightening it.
