double action knives...ie, automatic or manual.

i think im begining to understand how coil spring autos work, anyone know how a leaf spring one works?

i figure if anyone can explain it to me, it'll be one of you guys.

it covers double action knives as well? i thought it only had scale release autos, maybe ill have to get it after all :)

double action knives have a leaf spring that locks back, and if you dont press the button, they open and close just like a liner lock folder but the button makes the blade fly out automatically, thus the double action name.

Tom, that much i understand. i see the general idea, just no idea exactly HOW they work. (ie, drawings/pictures etc)
