How do they do it????

I should start off by saying I'm rather disgusted that a local junk clearance store reports selling 'hundreds' of these to young kids.

Then, I got to wondering how they do it. I'm not sure I could buy the velchro for $4. Two knives and the velcro arm sheath for $4. Canadian bucks! I'm thinking of buying a bunch of these and grindng them into letter openers.

Kidding - I just understand almost free labor in third world contries, but almost free steel too???

You could get those produced here in the states out of 3V with Paul Bos HT for about $10ea at 100 units.

Now drop to a random 400 stainless, forget HT, go over seas and raise production to 10,000 and you will be looking at about $0.50 for the whole set. It is not that big of a job.
