How do they sell switchblades over the internet?

I really hope I'm not unearthing some terrible secret that we're not supposed to talk about, but this has been bugging me for months now.

A certain website I found claims it will sell and ship switchblades to anyone in any state (save Chicago, IL), no military or LEO status required. No snake oil here either: This business is officially accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

My question is how the heck are they getting away with that? Isn't it illegal to sell switchblades interstate under US 15 - 29 § 1242?

I didn't post the name yet just in case a moderator advises against it.

Hey I wonder the same thing. Better yet, how do all those dealers go to the Atlanta Blade show accross state lines with tons of switchblades to sell, and the Italian companys import their latest switchblades to bring to the show. US Customs must be sleeping. Most internet sellers tell you they will ship via USPS and to use a USPS Money order for payment....add two more crimes to the one you posted.....

I suppose, as long as we're just idly wondering here, one could ask the same question about the folks selling them right here in the "for sale" forums too. Of course, I'm sure none of our members could possibly be breaking the law, so there must be another explanation.
