I usually use Rem Oil for pivots and such. The problem is that drops from the nozzle get everywhere I don't want it to be. Quite a mess which could result in unsafe conditions like slipping onto a blade with your trigger finger. How do you precisely deliver lube to a specific part of the knife? I was thinking about asking a hype that I know for a few rigs (syringes) so I can get the oil exactly where it is needed.

browning oil come with a tube like wd-40(but is not pressure aerosal), that works pretty good.

Go to a medical supply store and get the smallest diameter syringe you can find, or find an eye dropper with a long point.

Depending on how much lube you need to apply, you could also use a toothpick.

Militec has a nice metal stylus like tip you can use. Triflow has a plastic staw. Others can be tougher!

I use a bottle of mineral oil for lube. To apply it I shake the bottle, then remove the cap and set it down on my desk upside down. I tilt the cap so any oil in it goes towards one side, then dip a toothpick in it and use the toothpick to lube the knife pivot.

Cool deal... I've used toothpicks for applying White Lightening. That was some good stuff.

I use a syringe as well. I clip off the sharp point on mines. You can also get non medical grade ones that work well from Hk based internet stores...

You can get syringes at vet supply stores, country feed stores, horse supply houses, as well as at many large hobby shops and DIY stores. There was a time when the sale was outlawed but that has changed in most places. (The places where it's still hard to get them are inner cities.) Quite a few lubes come in their own syringes these days. And... failing all those, go to a local vet, bring along a pair of cutting dykes, ask for a used syringe that you will cut the point off right in front of him, and there should be no problem getting as many as you want.
