how do you become an "official" beckerhead, number and all???

There is a search option that works wonders but also look at the beckerhead list there is a link there to the thread about how to become one

You have to have a certain number of posts, that's the easy part.
You have to own a Becker knife, that is harder these days because they are in so much demand and hard to find.
Even harder you have to scan through the last 2, 10 or however many pages in that thread to find out if they are currently accepting new members. I've been reading this forum for a long time and the times that I've tried to join they have suspended accepting new members. If they are accepting new members then post your request and wait.
 
well, owning beckers is the easy part...i currently have a bk2, a pair of bk3's, and a bk4....and fixin' to buy a bk5.

Just post up questions and be a part of the discussions. The requirements ain't nothin'. Go BeckerHeads!
 
You gotta look and act the part. Look in the mirror and snarl. You will feel stupid at first but practice and stick with it. Then get mostly earth tone clothing and grow facial hair. Go work on that stuff and come back and you'll be ready for phase two of the transformation.
