How do you bring your Kukri to the field

So I am trying to gather some ideas as to how I am going to strap, stuff, hang my kukri for my camping/backpacking trips.


For those of you that take your kukri with you on backpacking adventures how do you carry it? If possible post pictures if you have them.
 
I don't back pack anymore but used to put mine insde the back pack with the end of the grip sticking out on the right hand side. I could reach back and pull it out. Of course it is dependent on pack design.

I also had a civilian version of an H harness with a small pack & web belt. The khukuri was on the web belt. & balanced quite well. I used this set up when I went alligator hunting at night.
 
I belt carry or use a baldric strap while out, sometimes I lash it to a pack but mostly belt.
