Well, how do you do it? Do you like the sheath or prefer pocket carry? Personally, I like to put it in my back pocket, while my dad always carrys his on his belt.

I prefer to use the genuine Corinthian cordura sheath that Buck makes for horizontal carry of the 110/2.
Have never pocket carried a 110/2. Would prob get a lot of "Is that a 110 in your pocket or ya just happy to see me?" questions.

Currently carrying on the belt. But I have seen on Ebay they have these leather carry pouches that when the knive is taken out it automatically opens the lockback blade so as it seem like it is a fixed blade. Looks kinda cool but have not heard of anyone having one.

I do like the Buck horizontal sheaths...you can wear 'em and they don't look like you are packing a blade. Someone here mentioned that sheeple just think you're carrying sunglasses.

Forgot about these...
Here are some horizontal sheaths that I use. The two deputy dawg ones with the star are from Jack Woods. The other is the quick draw McGraw that I think you may be typing about Diamond Dog. It's cool, but I don't like the bushing rubbing against the blade edge during deployment. But it is cool and works great...less filling. I had the extra rivet put in it at the end to keep the 111 Classic from slipping out the rear. The 111 is quite thinner than the 110. The sheath is perfect for a 110 though and needs no mods.

Goose, are the Buck horizontal sheaths you are talking about the standard cordura sheaths in the 110 clam packs? I like the leather Buck sheaths but some days you need something a little more casual looking.

Not all of the codura nylon sheaths are both vertical and horizontal capable. Could be a crap shoot as to which one you get in a clammie.

The big Alpha folder leather and codura sheaths are also both vertical and horizontal carry sheaths.

For years, I carried a 110 in my back pocket standing up just to the outside of my wallet. It would wear a hole in the bottom of my Levis after a few months, but by then they were old and faded anyway. Just the way I like 'em.

I never lost it out the hole, though. I still carry 1 EDC knife that way. When I carry my 110 now, it's in a sheath. I'll have to find a good horizontal sheath, tho. Probably about 4 or 5 O'clock.

Buckaholic those look like the ones I was referring to. Is there a good reason why that there are some bucks in clamshells and others in a box? Is it just the time in which it was made? Because when I went to buy mine on the blade of the box I think was a picture of the state of Idaho and on the clammie I think the blade just said Idaho. I like the look of the leather pouch for the 110. Kinda liking the horizontal pouch styles too. But I could totally see carrying just the knife in pocket too.

I used to carry a 110 along side my wallet in a back pocket. But, was wearing holes in that pocket way too fast. Lately I am cliping a 179 or a 174 in a pocket. Less wear...

During hunting seasons, a 110 lives in one of the horzontal nylon sheath on the belt. Way less drag when getting in and out of a vehicle. Rarely know it is there. But has been a few times I brushed against something that the snap has popped open. But haven't had a knife slide out.

The clammies are designed so retailers can rack hang them. You can't go by the pics on the cardboard in the clammies for the year code. Look on the back down on the barcode area and hopefully there will be a date. Usually not a problem unless you are looking for some specific year , like an Idaho or Anvil. Bad thing with clammies is that you can't see both sides when trying to match wood. Nor on the nylon sheaths, can you tell if it is both vertical/horizontal rigged.

I roamed into the local Gander Mt a year or so back and there were tables full of 110's in clammies. Easily a couple hundred or more. They were dusty dirty and all had a 2003 date stamped on the barcode.. No telling where those had been stashed.

when I pack my buck 110 or 112 I always carry them in a G2 (Gary Graley) horizontal sheath.I carry my BG42 112 more than any of my 110's it just seems to fit me better.

When I'm home, I carry my Buck 110 in the pocket of my jammies. I don't usually carry a Buck when I'm out and about, but when I do, it's in the Buck nylon sheath you wear horizontally.

On the rare occasion that I carry a 110 (favorite knife, but rarely carried anymore) it's on the belt. It's just too bulky for front pocket carry and I don't like things in my back pocket.

I've become a big fan of the 500 series in the last several years. They look nice, have all the quality of the 110/112 and are easy to carry.

I carry my 110 or 112 in their sheaths on my belt on my right side, next to my cell phone.

I hate pocket carrying folders (especially one as big as the 110) without a clip.

My AG 110 rides in one of Jack's handmade sheath's that is a carbon copy of MWM's in thread #12 above.
