With all the various ways to carry the RAT/RC3 I was just curious what people have settled on as there preferred way to carry it?

I have mine threaded with paracord so that it can mount horizontally on my belt, but I've left enough so that I can also hang it around my neck.

I have a paracord loop around my belt then carried IWB. I have a TAK coming and I hope to do the same but it might be too big?

I've been EDC'ing mine for a bit now and I too wear mine inside the belt. I wear it in between my belt and my pants. It holds it tight up against me so it's harder to see and also I feel it's more secure when I'm climbing in and out of the truck all day.

I EDC it because I live in a fairly rural area and I drive a dump truck(I haul rock,dirt...). Sometimes through the course of the day some pretty shady people order rock so you never quite know what you're gonna get into(lots of meth users and such around here too). There was a dump truck driver last year who got shot while working(don't know the circumstances though), so I figure it could come in handy. PLus I use it while working around the shop for various tasks.

You guys should also describe your job or lifestyle that you have that requires carrying your RC3, and how it affects your style of carry.

i.e. an undercover cop might carry it on a IWB or small of back sheath, while a hunter or somebody working in a warehouse might carry it on their belt.

Three ways.

1. In front pants pocket, if pocket is such the knife isn't telegraphed and will remain upright. Typically a casual dress carry.

2. IWB. Carry method when not concerned with concealing (e.g. home, outdoors), or when covered by jacket, etc.

3. Neck w/ paracord. Used backpacking when my waist is occupied with hipbelt and when in camp.

I rigged my sheath with a piece of bike inner tube to contain the paracord when not in use. I've also found I can stick a firesteel there if needed. I'm waiting to see how long it takes the rubber to fail, but so far so good. It's cheap and easily replaced. A few pics of the set up.

Either on Belt, or Tek Locked to the left side drinking tube band on my North Face Solaris Pack.

I have the molle back version and I use a second setup with boot clip and I also use one of my RAT3 w/o boot clip as a necker sheath.
