I have a Esee Izula but don't like to carry it around my neck. Do any of you carry it in a belt sheath, or back pocket sheath - and if so, what kind of sheath do you use or could recommend?

Back pocket using a leather sheath by skystorm... also has a built in pocket for a flashlight.

The factory sheath can be fitted with either ESEEs own belt clip ( can be clipped to pocket too ) or a Tek-Lok which will allow vertical or horizontal belt carry. You can also just use a bit of paracord and a chord lock to attach it to your belt like shown in the manual that comes with the survival kit if you got that too.

I tend to carry it in a lot of different ways just depending on my mood since it's so versatile. I've really liked the Tek-Lok so far. It easily attaches to my belt if I want to belt carry, and it's low profile enough to not but me in my pocket too much if I just want to drop it in there. In addition to that, I'm actually sitting here with it clipped to my shirt collar and kind of hanging off the shirt--pretty comfy for just sitting around home.

There's all sorts of different ways to carry them I've found, I think there's been a couple of different threads on the subject too.

With a Tek-Lok horizontally at the small of my back. Can't even tell it's there.

Any pics? I've found that the tek loc tends to be too loose on my belt and it moves around too much...especially when drawing the knife. Any suggestions?

I don't have an Izula, but I do have a BK14 and I carry it around my neck when I am camping or hiking and on my belt for EDC.

I'll either wear it in my pocket in a KSF sheath or clipped to my belt with a Spyderco G-Clip.

I have a Tek-Lok for mine and it's a great piece to have for any kydex sheath system IMO. It just offers so many various ways and angles to accommodate any position you desire, it's a must have I believe.

I have tried hanging it around my neck. I've also done an over the shoulder and across my chest configuration so the knife handle is about 4 inches from my belt line under my shirt ( quicker to get knife out ), but i usually just put the whole thing into my front pocket.

I just use the factory sheath with a simple paracord wrap and the cord-lock. Works well, imo...

Right there in my pocket. I have played around with the way timberweasel there carries it too but mostly I just slide the original or the 2 into my pocket. Rides very nicely is a suit coat pocket.

Front right pocket, handle down, with paracord tethering the sheath to my belt.

kydex square with a belt clip, carabiner at bottom hole, clipped and secured to my boot - excellent boot knife
