How do you carry your GEC #23 pioneer?

I got a GEC #23 in carved pumpkin bone last winter in a swap here. It is a cool knife, but a 4.5" long brick. How do you carry big folders like this? Where can I get a nice pouch for it?

I like to carry mine alongside my wallet when wearing jeans. The only time I notice it is when I take my wallet out, it falls over. Other than that it just stands up beside it, real easy to get at.

I carry mine in a jacket pocket in the winter, or in a horizontal Boker belt pouch (I think it was made for their Speedlock and Toplock knives, fits the GEC like a glove).

Exactly the way I carry mine.

Email or PM me your address and I will send you a folding hunter sheath of some kind if you decide on something a little simpler than these fancy ones listed above...

That's the way to do it.

That doesn't work for me because I carry my wallet on the left and like my knife on the right.

I do have a pair of jeans with a freakishly deep watch pocket that can contain it; I ought to find a few more pairs!

D.M.Bullard makes some very nice belt pouches. He makes both vertical and horizontal in a couple different sizes, the large should work well for the knife in question.
