How do you carry your knife?

My current EDC is pretty small--about 5" overall--so I carry it clipped inside my pocket:

I carry them in the fifth small pocket in my jeans.

I also sometimes have a knife in the inside pocket of my jacket attached with the clip.

Modern folder clipped in right front pocket, and traditional in the bottom of left front pocket, a SAK usually rides in my watch pocket.

Favorite way is a folder clipped inside my right front pocket. Next favorite is a necker, especially when I don't have pockets. Not a huge fan of belt carry although I do on occasion.

I found to belt carry right next to my belt buckle to be the best for me.

I can't even tell it's there, and it's really easy to quickly draw it out and put it back away just as fast. And noone knows it's there.

I currently have one knife clipped to the RFP, and another clipped to the LFP.

Cool thread. Clipped to right front pocket, at the extreme right edge so it doesn't get i the way of reaching for and extracting a somewhat overcrowded keyring.

No one, except, your cat, eh?

I usually just toss my knife into either my right front pocket, or right rear pocket, depending on the size of the knife. If it's a little knife, sub 3 inches, in the front. Any larger than that, and it goes in the back.

Spyderco Caly 3 clipped into jeans watch pocket. Only thing which is seen against black denim is dark coperish wire clip. Many won't see it even they would look straight on it. I can't feel it but its securely there.

and Texas Jack CV usually deep in left pocket

I'll occasionally carry a modern folder clipped to my RFP, but more often than not, I keep a slipjoint in my change pocket if I'm wearing jeans, or a slippie in a William Henry Clipcase in my RFP.

I just hate it when a non-clipped knife ends up lying horizontally at the bottom of my pocket. Damned uncomfortable, awkward looking and hard to reach.

Right now, La Griffe resting on my chest in its sheath on a ball chain around my neck.
And an Emerson Persian in a modified universal belt pouch worn horizontally on my left side for crossdraw deployment.
My usual EDC.

I've never had the chance to EDC anything other than a folder and those are always clipped inside my right pocket, pushed as far right as possible to keep them out of the way.

Usually carry my fixed blade on my right hip. My folder is in the side pocket of the sheath. I have another knife that has a custom sheath with belt loops to hold it horizontally behind my back. I have the means to carry my everyday knife on my left side upside down but I don't usually do so unless a situation calls for it.

for EDC I keep a little folder (a victorinox secretary) in one of the "hidden" card slots in my wallet, the ones that are sort of behind the normal card slots, and look a bit like it could be a seam.
the wallet then goes in my RFP along with my change.

If I'm carrying my leatherman (core) it normally lives in it's sheath, either just behind my right hip, or just to the left of my belt buckle (depending on what else I might be carrying) and my mora lives on my belt, again just behind the right hip.
when I did have a larger folder, I clipped it in my RFP, but I don't have one anymore....

I always carry a clipped folder in my right front pocket but have found that if I need it quickly it isn't happening. My duty belt tends to block it. I have carried a neck knife at work for years but recently have found the Kabar TDI carried grip forward on my left side, as I am right hand dominant and tend to have my right hand occupied most of the time, is extremely accessible and convenient to aquire with either hand.

I really like the belt buckle carry approach. I guess for EDC the TDI can easily be carried that way. Thanks for the tip.
