how do you carry your machete pvc sheath?

I am making a pvc sheath for my martindale 12" machete. I would like ideas about how to attach it to my pack and carrying it on my belt or with a baldric rig.. how do you carry yours?
 
I think this will work for me. will use a leather dangler type belt loop to attach to D ring
