How do you carry your RC-4?

Do any of you RC-4 users recommend the full MOLLE back sheath or just the knife and Kydex lower end offering without the backing?

It seems too big to carry in your pocket so the full kit would be the way to go?

I ask because I am ordering an RC-4 tomorrow.

I like belt carry with the molle back. You can also get an rc5 spring clip and redrill it to the rc4 holes. I'm rockin it that way currently

Molle back, strapped to the belt on my right side. Have only carried it a few times when messin around outside, but it seemed very secure and the knife was easy to access.

Inverted, blade facing behind me, on the right side, using the supplied paracord. Once you get used to it, there's no going back.

Not my preferred method but when I had an RC-4 It would ride completely in my front pocket no problem.

I'm having a hard time figuring this one out.
So on the right hand side, pointy end toward the back, for a reverse grip draw?

I was looking at the RAT RC-4 and RC-5 & love the upgrade to Kydex sheaths.

Is an an RC-5 over the top for conceal carry or should I stick with the RC-4. I'm not a camper.

I found that I dion't care for the sheath and the size of the RC-3. My hand is too big for the RC-3. I just doesn't feel good in my hand. I need just a smidge more handle.

The RC-4 would fit the bill for that I'm pretty sure, so now I'm thinking why not go "whole hog" and buy the RC-5?

Any opinions welcome. Probably should get them both, they're very affordable fixed blades. ;)

If I'm correct, the RC-4 and 3 have the same handle length just the thickness differs. I personally would not want to concealed carry an RC-5. Concealed carry to me is an everyday thing. You're talking about a pound of steel.

...or 9,45 inch with regular sheath in the front pocket?

Maybe that´s the right size for something between your pockets:D, in the pockets the RC-4 imho is too big to sit down and move comfortably.

Regular kydex sheath with the paracord belt loop rig. Love it.

That's how I have carried my RC-4 on just about every outing. Thinking about trying out the locks thought to see how it feels though.

Occasionally I have slipped it into a front pocket. I will admit it doesn't always work that way.

I just measured the RC-3 MIL handle and it's 4 3/8 including the extended glass breaker tip. The rounded handle of the RC-4 (appears shorter than the glass breaker type) is listed at 4.5 inches.

I got this from OAL is 9" and blade 4.5" = 4.5" handle....I figure anyway 1/8th" longer or more (w/o the glass breaker). I don't know how long the Macarta slabs are though?

Well, thanks guys, I'm not getting the RC-5 for sure but I think I could carry the RC-4 for sure.

Don't have a RC-4 (yet....), but I've really come to like the 550 cord belt loop carry for my RC-3...............FWIW

RC4 is the same size as the RC3 handles (minor difference to to blade thickness).

The RC5 however...while certainly possible to conceal, you should be aware is much larger than you may think. It's a wonderful knife...but it does weigh one pound.

That was with cargo pants, not blue jeans. I just stuck a ruler in my pocket and it is 8" to the bottom edge and 11" to the top edge.
