Hi

Just got one of them little ones and cant believe how fantastic they feel in the hand.

I kept it in the pouch but with time it might be cumbersome.
Do you you use the pouch?

I carry almost all of my Kiwis loose in my watch pocket. The exceptions are a couple with scales of very soft material. For those I use either one of the pouches which come with stock Kiwis, a slightly larger flap pouch which came with a used Kiwi I purchased, or a small A.G. Russell black leather pouch.

I carry a Kiwi every Saturday morning as church knife and I always use a pouch as it protects the high polished bolsters and I have time enough to put the knife out from the pouch if I need it.

It depends on the pants. If jeans, I am likely to use the watch pocket. If slacks, then I use the pouch.

I carry it in my back pocket in the pouch. The pouch makes it comfier to sit on, holds it in place, and protects against scratches.

I like the pouch and think it adds a bit of "class" per say. It's not a tactical folder and I use it for light, sheeple, occasions. For that reason for my intended use I have time to take it in and out of the pouch. I carry my bigger spydies for speedy situations :D

Anyhow my kiwi rides in it's pouch in my inside pocket of my leather jacket.

I also have a SS Kiwi that did not come with a pouch so that one rides in the coin pocket of my jeans when carried. This one is also slimmer than the bolstered Kiwis.
