How do you carry?

I recently got a phone holster so that I could carry a knife in my front pocket without beating up my smartphone, and man, I was missing out before! I guess carrying a knife on a sheath would have accomplished the same thing but, you know, sheeple, discretion, etc etc... How does everybody prefer to carry? Front vs. back pocket? Clip vs no-clip? Jacket, jeans, sheath, boot, I'm interested! In your opinion, what is the best way to carry? What else am I missing out on?

Always one clipped in my front right pocket tip up carry!

Two front right tip ups! Does anybody choose tip up vs down for discretion purposes? I know I do it to bury a delica better when I carry it.

I prefer mouth carry. Tip down, of course

Like this?

That's Bubbles. She worked at the Red Dog.

I pocket carry with slipcases. Keeps the knife nice and new, makes it more comfortable in-pocket, hides the profile and keeps the knife from scratching other stuff. And you can still clip-carry, even in a slipcase. Knife-fighter guys will tell you it's a bad idea because it cuts a half-second off your deploy time. :stupid:

I use belt holsters sometimes for larger knives but usually it's pocket carry, even with the big ones.

I have boot sheaths for carry also.

Clipped in my front right pocket tip up. The only other thing I keep in that pocket is my smartphone. ;)

Clipped to my right rear pocket. I prefer tip down, but my current favorite is tip up only. This is a compromise to keep my right front pocket clear for easy access to my Ruger LCP and spare mag that carry in a small pocket holster. Keys, a Vic Executive, and a small fire starter ride front left, smartphone rear left, and my wallet shares right rear with my ZT 0770cf. Oh, and a 750 lumen light rides in the tool pocket if I'm wearing carpenters jeans (99% of the time).

RFP tip down. I only have 3 Knives that are tip up. They work through my rotation though.

I broke two plastic Endura pocket clips when I tried rear pocket. Straightened out a metal clip to. Never carry rear pocket again.
