How do you compare the Buck Strider to the real Strider?

I have read about the Buck Strider and I have seen and held the real Strider. But I don't know how does the Buck Strider compares with the full tang Strider.

Besides the folding feature of the Buck Strider, what are the differents. Being a folder, is it "weaker" in certain areas.

I haven't held or tested the Buck Strider. My curiosity just keeps on growing. Friends told me this B-Strider is a bit "rough" but that's the way it was meant to be.

Use it, love it, possess it - I think that's what they say.

The advantage of a fixed blade Strider or any other fixed blade for that matter is that fact that you don't have to worry about locking mechanisms. I can tell you that the Buck Strider is very well made and does have a thick, solid and secure linerlock so I feel that as far as folders go, this one is unlikely to fail on you. Also, the "roughness" is intentional based on that the knife is designed for.
