How do you COMPLETELY DELETE a post?

You have to contact a mod for that. Seeing as you already took care of editing it I will delete it for you. Just keep in mind that deleting posts is not a common practice here on BFC but we will delete if by request from the original poster (at least I will if it's warranted).

Thanks Ken!

I had spent a discouraging hour yesterday trying to either embed or attach two photos to my post a little further up in that thread. This morning, I'd finally discovered the "tutorial" covering that process and learned that the 850 pixel wide images I was messing with were a silly little 50 pixels TOO WIDE for BF. :o :grumpy:

Anyway, I thought I'd experiment attaching and embedding on a "test post" before going back and editing my real post. I was surprised to discover that I'm able to edit my own posts but NOT delete them.

Note sure how much demand there might be, but I would have enjoyed using a "sandbox thread" in which I could "play" with posting and editing post without causing extra work for you mods. The sandbox idea could be incorporated into some "how to" sticky threads.

Thanks for modding! Jim

Actually, I see those test posts in this subforum pretty often while people are figuring things out. ;)

This is the place. :)

Tech Support is a good place for a test thread, trying out posting problems, instead of going to the regular discussion forums.

Just title it Test and no one will be surprised at the strange gaps or red x's until you get it.
