How do you conceal a knife for routine searches?

There seems to be a huge gap in the German market for knifes, that are disguised as some every-day utensil, so that you can actually carry them during public events where the organizer does not allow you to enter with a knife. There are not any legal problems as long as the knife is not also a weapon by law.
Where can I buy such knifes? It should be large enough to be useful for self-defense.
Another option is some kind of box, for a folding knife. However it should not look
like something to be opened. I think a dummy mobile phone would do the trick.

Thanks for your help
Kurt

I personally do not try and take a knife, where it is not allowed. I am not one who wants to break the law. And I will not advocate anyone else TO break the law. It is nice wise to do so.

I simply do not go anywhere that does not allow a knife (Here in West Texas those are few!) I will not support anyone who goes against state law and says you can't carry a knife. I also will not fly for the same reason.

I don't think I'd be looking to hide a knife if it's not allowed to be there. I think you'd be asking for trouble. And welcome to the Forums.

As I have already said, it is not illegal in Germany at all. You only risk getting a permanent ban on entering from the organizer.

However in the end everyone would be saver, if he had allowed knifes.
The bad guys will always find a way to smuggle knifes, or enjoy beating
defenceless people. I want to help the good guys, including myself.

I have already asked the consulting service that the police offers (Polizeiliche Beratungsstelle), but they said, that they were not the relevant people.
My local weapon stores or German on-line stores do not offer such a
knife. So there definetely is a market gap.

It is a borderline question. Carrying a knife under those circumstances is not illegal. We usually avoid discussing how to break rules, though.

Depending on how the organizer would check to find covert weapons, you might conceal a non-metallic knife, perhaps taped inside your belt.

I think a better alternative would be to avoid knives and carry impact weapons that won't be recognized as weapons. A small flashlight and a pen can go anywhere, and with some practice can be effective for self-defense.

I'll leave it in the car. I hate walking back to the car to put it back and I'm not about to hand over my Native or my trapper. Not worth the hassle.

Welcome to Bladeforums! I get the impression what you really want to ask is something like, "What novelty knives are available that don't look like knives?" Why don't you start a new thread with a more accurately phrased question, to avoid confusion.... :)
