Hello all, i have seen lots of talk about who has what type/style of knife..But you never hear or see how people display their collection... Some thought normally has to go into this to get the most impact out of your display, and the easier they are to see the less inclined others are to touch your babies..( i have found anyway)

My cabinets are custom made items, stand just over 6 foot tall. The glass shelves are high strain laminated glass, as are the doors. The lights are 12volt, 5 watt down lights, which as you can see are more then enough to light up every shelf.Full mirror backs, with extra support in the back to stop rattles when i have my stereo on. Both have cupboard space under for storage of boxes and cleaning items....I have two more of these being made now, as i have filled both the ones i have now...I have been told by several friends now that my loungroom looks more like s hop with these cabinets now...

So i am always keen for new ideas, so lets see how you display what makes you happy....:D Surely no one that takes their collection seriously just throws them in the drawer??

I don't display, I'm pretty sure none of my friends care, nor would I want to make it obvious for visiters.

Can anyone say mall ninja?

With that said I just have multiple gun brief cases nicely padded to hold fixed blades and another case for regular folders. You know, real knives.....

You need to flip your katanas over Storing them edge down has a tendency to dull them.

Yes i do just store them in a drawer.

With how they fit in the scabbard they don't even touch the inside, so dulling is no problem..Still as sharp as the day i bought them...
