I may have done this thread a while back, can't remember. I have been displaying my knives (most of them) the best I can on my desk and would LOVE TO SEE YOUR SET UP. Take photos or post them if you got em. This is my favorite way to enjoy knives I buy.

Here is my set up as of today..

As a whole set up.

These are some close ups. Sorry for the lack of photo skills.

I like the clear plexiglass cases you use - where do you source those?

Ebay.. Just search "knife display case". I have been doing that for a year or two and never found them till recently, so you should check fast. They aren't perfectly air tight. They are cheap $20-30 and have spaces on the bottums, but serve my purpose fine.

Here is a horrible snapshot of my shadow box "coffee" table.

This will keep Roger entertained while he identifies each knife from memory!

12 different makers, FWIW.

Gonna guess.. from left top to bottum

Hanson??, Andrews, Dunn, Cashen, Wheeler, Fogg

Fisk, Crowell, BLANK, BLANK, Foster, Fuegan?

Some of those blanks could be Andrews now that I think about it.

Anyway, lets get some more displays and setups here. I'd love for everyone to take pics, even if they look crummy.

That second blank looks like a Greg Neely to me.

Dean, first XXX? I'd think its one of them but I mix up their work.

In your opinions, does displaying them increase their vulnerability to elements much more? I keep the fixed blades mostly oiled these days.

Here is my newest display case

I have shown this before but thought I woukd add it here
