How do you display your EDC folders?

How do you guys display the knives you carry most often? I tend to have about a half dozen or more knives I cycle through for carry depending on the potential needs for the day and have stored them in a desk drawer for easy access. However, I would like some ideas on ways for a desktop display that would allow quick selection/fondling.

For now I have tried taking a challenge coin display stand and placed the closed blades in the long rows of slots which works well but is not ideal.

I searched through tons of threads on display methods but haven't come across any methods, cases, or stands that caught my eye. Look forward to hearing (and seeing) your suggestions.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: To clarify, by "display" I really mean organized in plain view for easy access.

I store mine on the nightstand next to my bed. Quick access when I get up and dressed in the morning.

I keep em in a PVK.com zippered knife bag. I only have 7 knives here at home and all but 2 see any carry/use.

Craftsman rolling box...got it for free and it holds everything I need. The sliding drawers make me feel like James Bond.

I hate to admit it, but I use two jewelry boxes. My wife loves them and when she replaces one, the older one becomes a knife box. Not a display as much as storage, but they work well and blend with the bedroom decor.

All my knives live in my dresser... 2nd drawer from the floor.... It tends to be dangerous to get knives out....

Except my edcs they live next to my tv... Or in my pocket :D

I only have a few so they are usually resident in my EDC packs or taking a break in the socks drawer.

The ones I carry most often just get stuck with the rest of my junk (wallet, phone, watch, etc) on my dresser. They're never really on 'display' at all...

Every knife I have is stored in the Safe as I am in there 3 or 4 times a day. So no display as somebody always wants to borrow one or buy one for half what I have in it so I solved the problem and put them in my 2 Safes. Out of site ~~ out of mind as far as those that come and go in and out of here.!*

I have safe queens that sit in special containers or on display stands on my shelf in my home office. I also have the bulk of my collection on wall mounted magnetic rail covered with a old piece of black cloth to make it look nice and not scratch the blades. I found this at IKEA for $13 and it allows 14 knives per rail to hang open blade up. Looks great mounted inn grab range from office desk to fondle and put back in nice neat row.

Great idea!

I don't display my knives per se, whatever knives I don't have in my pocket are stored in a large Gertsner tool chest. It's red oak construction and felt lined drawers make for an ideal knife storage solution.
