How do you display your EDCs?

I am new to the forum (signed up last night) and am curious how all of you display your EDCs. I have 22 EDCs and I wanted to view them for easy selection each morning, so I cut some cardboard and put packing tape on it and then used really short screws to secure it to the inside of "my" kitchen cupboard door. It works perfectly as all of my EDCs have pocket clips and it has held up for years. How do you guys do it?

Spyderco spydie pack is where I keep all mine. Hang it in my closet unfolded so they are all easily accessible to grab one for the day.

I plan it out prior and have the selection(s) of the day from a bedside drawer in place beforehand. For example, I headed out to the beach over the Memorial Day weekend and clipped a DF2 Salt to my board shorts while replacing the HAP40/SUS410 Manbug with a Ladybug 3 Hawkbill Salt on the keychain the day before. Work and play days are the same: I will have it all laid out and ready to go depending on expected activities.

I have a black, cheapo "Half Size Jewelry Display Case" that can hold about 6-7 folders and stays on the table by my door where I drop my keys, mail, etc. It's a neat solution to what was once a jumbled "EDC rotation" that used to just get piled on said table. The rest of my knives don't get displayed.

I don't display mine. I keep them in a drawer beside my recliner. Tried to convince the wife that if left in a dark drawer they would breed but don't think she's buying it.

No problem. ;)

Btw, I know this is about "how you display your knives" (your solution is very clever) but I noticed that you have a nice collection. Maybe time to get a ZT. :)

I'm sure I'll eventually have a ZT. I haven't really ever done any trading of knives, but I see that this site has a board for that. I may have to consider it at some point. Seems like a less expensive way to enjoy a variety of knives.

My fiancée got me a very nice antique silverware box that I keep my folders in. Open the drawer, folders are there, flip open the top, wallet, keys, flashlight and other pocket items are in there. I also have a tackle box for storage of blades and items I don't use regularly, but don't want to get rid of.

I just went to my local food store and picked up a few cigar boxes (at $1 a pop), lined them with felt and sorted my knives by size/type.
Four boxes, one each for small, large, traditional folders, and one for edc fixed blades.

That being said, I am also in agreement with Adam. My knives are generally choose the night prior. One folder, one fixed.

In a drawer next to my desk, on top of an old scarf mostly just because it looks nice and keeps them from sliding around.

I'd like to come up with something more showy, though. I don't like many of the actual knife display units on the market, but I've seen some challenge coin racks that I think would work well.

I don't display them , I just keep them in a cardbox and pick one when I need it

I usually keep the same knife for one week or more, sometime just picking another for the week end

Ils Blues i consider them to be tools

Magnetic tool holders from Harbor Freight stuck to the underside of the shelves with ShoeGoo;)

I keep 'em in a cheap Husky tool chest. After all, they are tools.

I have no desire to display my Skilsaws, so my knives are treated the same way.

To each his own Blues Bender. I prefer to organize and, when practical, display my tools for easy access. I don't display my skilsaw either because I only have one to choose from. However, I do display my wrenches on a pegboard because it makes it easier to select the one I want. Again, to each his own.

Hey, don't get me wrong, my knives are all organized very neatly in my tool chest. They are sorted in a very tedious manner. When I need a chopper, boom, second drawer. A beater? Third drawer. Custom pocket jewelry? First drawer:D

I enjoy some of the displays that I've seen on this forum. I'm not knocking anyone's method, just stating my personal philosophy:cool:
