How do you display your Schrades?

There may have been another thread on this, but I couldn't find it. I just finished some improved display cases, and thought I'd show one off here, and find out how others display their knives. Not having room for nice old table top cases, I needed to take advantage of wall displays, but wanted them flexible, to be able to change things around easily. These Cherry wood cases have 12 gauge steel behind the cloth, and I use those disc shaped permanent magnets to fasten the knives. I can change the whole display in 10-15 minutes! I brought prototype displays to the Oregon show in April, and the knives rode flat 7+ hours in the trunk, and no knives were displaced!

The ceiling in the room is painted green, hence the green reflections. Please excuse my marginal camera skills.

wow!! great display and great knives!! sure u dont want me to take some off ya hands?? anyway, i keep mine in a oak display case. i have little dowels run thru the back to act as pegs, which i lay the knives on, kinda like thier own little shelf. wasnt hard to make, and wasnt time consuming, but lord help me if a tornado hits the house. the knives themselves arent permanently attached, so if the case was to fall, the knives would get shook up. hhhmmm, now u got me thinking of different ways to hold them in place....

I put some lesser knives in it before I hung it up, and it stood a shake-up pretty good! They moved some, but never fell off.
Speaking of hanging it up, it has a half-inch board cut lengthwise at a 45 degree angle inset in the back, the full width, and a matching board that screws to the wall. You just lift it off or on. Very sturdy, and you can just lift it down to work on a table, or move it. I take them to shows, and have props that fit the back. I display them leaning back about 20 degrees, on a show table.

The knives look like they are "floating" in space! No visible means of attachment. Yet they are quite secure.

Very cool idea.

I keep mine in a 1920s machinists toolbox. Pull those skinny drawers if you want a display.

thats looks nice mate , i need to stop coming in here , lol . it makes me want to collect schrades

Everyone enjoyed that first display so I thought I'd show off another. These are in no particular order as far as age. All appear to be Schrade or Schrade-made knives, except the three Camillus knives at a slant in the upper right, and I'm not sure about the 5th knife on the bottom, a Craftsman marked stockman. Not too many knife appreciaters in my neck of the woods, and I really enjoy having people see them. Thanks, Charlie!

Is there a pattern number on the Craftsman?

And where do we find the magnets?

Here's the Craftsman, Codger. It's only marked on the front of the master.
