I just ordered my first knife direct from Busse...how do you do it? Picking the color was killing me. That one looks nice, oh thats kind of cool, ooh thats mean looking. AAAAH.......I went to bed last night to sleep on the tan canvas was desert sage blade. Then I got up 2Dead had posted pics of a nice looking CF. Dang you!
Well I went with the sage on tan with a Spec Ops coyote sheath. The TGLB has to be ending soon and I did not want to miss out. It was kind of fun but kind of stressful. I guess it is good to have frivolous thing to worry about.......Live is good. Thanks for all the pics!
 
Just call the shop and change your order. It shouldn't be a problem. I have done it more than I care to talk about.
 
Well, here's a good example:

i ordered a sage and black paper TGLB.

I saw a post with a CF, changed the order to CF, i still like the black paper.

got the blade, everyone loves it, but no one loves the black paper?

Something about it being "slippery"

After some playing around, i realized, it's a great material, i can put a few wraps of friction tape on it if i want, and it's 10 times better than canvas in tactile traction. A large lanyard, and no way i could lose grip. so, the moral of the story... the one thing i had thought i made a mistake on (black paper), was really not a mistake... i like the looks and it can be even more tactile than anything else, if i choose it to be).

The bottom line is, i realized... it's mine, i love the look, i love the feel, and because it's mine, there's nothing better.

So enjoy your decisions!

You will love it. If you ever want CF, strip it.

or call and try to get it changed, as i did. But i was ready to say "sage is great, i live in the desert"

Sage is good :thumbup: These look great in lots of combinations so its hard to go wrong. And as infocus and retrocon point out, you can change your order if you want to. You should have a few weeks at least until they coat it.
 
I like tactical color combos. My favorites that I almost always order are: Black G10 on jungle green blade, black canvas on sage blade and Green/black G10 on either sage or Jungle green. Jerry is a marketing Genius; most blades from other manufacturers I've ordered a blade, and if it was really good, might get a backup.... But Busse.. ha.. got 13 Ash ones for different color combos and multitudes of FSH and SFNOs... heck Tank busters too.
