Well, I'm new to knife making and extremely excited to continue grinding but my grinder is in the shop

So, to get me through the few weeks that it is away, I am scrounging for more information. I ordered Allen Blade's flat grinding video and his kydex sheath making video and boy was that the best $23 560 Canadian I ever spent (the exchange rate is killing me- I think they are only $13 US a piece). I can see how he makes his sheaths, so, how do you do it? Specifically I'd like to know how you have your vice set up for clamping, how you make belt loops and stick 'em on the sheath and also if anyone knows of a source of consealex/kydex in Canada, please let me know!

Crayola I Commercial Plastics in Calgary sells it for about 90 bucks for a 4 x 8 foot sheet. It comes in a variety of colors.

Scraped, burnt, sliced, smashed. AHHHH, knifemaking!!!!

Mold some of the plastic around you own belt for a belt loop...Better hardware stores or industrial hardware outlets can get you screwpost and screws...

You could use eyelets to hold it all together...

Be creative with your hardware...That's half the fun!
