how do you find a knife show????

Greetings all:

I'm new here and have enjoyed reading the forums so far, learned a lot as well. I've been interested in the posts I've seen about knife shows. As an upstate New Yorker the best I have found is a local gun show that attracts some knife dealers. I've not heard of any knife shows in my area, or within a short drive of my area. How do I find any knife shows that may be in my area?

One way is to network. We do have a few upstate New Yorkers. If you guys keep in touch and notify each other of anything coming up, you may even get a chance to meet in person.

Of course, a lot of upstate isn't densely populated enough for the big shows. Come on down to the City on March 4, 5, or 6 for the East Coast Custom Knife Show. I'll probably be there Friday this year.

Yeah NYC has two biggies, the NYCCKS which was a few months ago, and then the ECCKS comming up in March.

Other than those you could read knife magazines such as Blade, Knives Illustrated or Tactical Knives for show listings. I also used to get a bi-annual magazine that was just a big list of pretty much every knife and gun show that was going on.
