Hi
I got a 110 today and its pretty hard to open .Not like the old ones .How do I get it to open faster? Would the reblading process do it ? I guess I could file it a little .And pry it open more ? Are they all hard to open?
I can kinda open it with my thimb .But it ain't easy .
Any tips and tricks would be great
thanks
Chris

I bought my son one this May for his birthday. No problems at all with the knife. You may have gotten a defective one.

If your thoughts are to "file" it or having to "pry" it open, I would think there is something wrong with the knife and suggest either returning it to the place of purchase, or sending it to BUCK for warranty repair. You don't want to do someting that might void the Lifetime Warranty. Since it is a new knife, I'm sure if the place of purchase won't exchange it, BUCK will make it right. If you take it back, ask them to allow you to examine a couple different 110's before you pick the one you want. Open and close them in front of the clerk to make sure this was was just a "fluke!" If you decide to send it to BUCK, email Joe Houser (Moderator of this Forum) and let him know about the problem. I KNOW he will make it right....
